Our ELA time was spent looking at an example of a quality concluding paragraph for a compare and contrast essay. The fifth graders then spent their work time drafting a conclusion for their essays. We are going to continue this work tomorrow.
In math class, the kids used visual representations and reasoning to divide whole numbers by powers of 10.
