This week we are going to do some preparing for the ELA MCAS which is coming up in April. The fifth graders will have some time to familiarize themselves with the testing website. They are also going to work through the questions of a practice test.
We began this new week with an assessment during math class. This quiz will serve as a indication how the fifth graders are doing with their adding and subtracting of decimals. We are going to conclude unit six later this week.
In the afternoon, groups continued to work on their 13 colonies posters. The last two weeks saw the fifth graders collecting information from various sources on graphic organizers. We are looking to have each of the five groups finish their projects by next week.
