Students began another challenging word problem in math class today. Room 312 is using arrays to help solve multiplication fraction problems. I enjoyed seeing the teamwork that my class exhibited today. Students are also doing a nice job of explaining their reasoning when presenting their answers.
We also began to investigate the New England colonies in social studies. Students focused in on important figures and dates of the four colonies today. We will be turning our attention to the middle and southern colonies over the course of the next few days.

Reading - 30 minutes of quiet reading
Writing - continue to work on first draft of opinion piece, must be complete be Friday
