The fifth graders took part in a presentation by the author George O'Connor this morning. This was a great opportunity for them to hear from a published author about his creative process. The fifth graders thoroughly enjoyed this.
We continued deeper into our decimal unit during math time. The students looked to represent decimals on both grids and on number lines.
