The focus of our writing today concerned crafting an engaging lead paragraph. Many students were able to hone in on interesting and humourous lead paragraphs. I was pleased with today's work.

As a reminder, this Thursday October 12 is picture day.

The fifth graders also received paperwork concerning the fifth grade trip to science camp in early December. There are a number of forms that need to be signed and returned to school as well as information for parents at home. In addition, the fifth grade team is on the look out for chaperones to stay over different days down at the Alton Jones camp.
