The students spent time during ELA talking about common themes and events that occur in works of fantasy. This segued into using one of our anchor texts to look for some of these recurring pieces of fantasy books.
Tomorrow, the fifth graders will once again meet with their book buddies to finish an Earth Day poster that they began working on the week before April vacation.
Homework
Reading - 30 minutes of quiet reading and fill out reader's log on nightly basis. Due Friday April 27th
