Each of the students worked on drafting the lead paragraph of their narrative essay during our ELA time. There was a discussion about the parts of a strong lead and then the kids worked in pairs to compose the beginning of their essays. We will continue this work tomorrow, as we shift our attention to the proof or body paragraphs.
