I hope everyone has a great weekend.

The students completed the second and final portion of their ELA MCAS testing today. I was proud of the way that the students came into work today. I am sure they acquitted themselves well in this round of testing.

This Friday, the 13th, the members of A303 will be having a show and tell. Students may bring in one item (1) that has special significance to them. This item must be appropriate for school and students are responsible for their possession. I would advise students to bring something in that is not too fragile.

The fifth graders began the final week before April vacation by progressing deeper into our decimal unit and our road to the Revolutionary War unit. The students continue to be heavily invested in our lessons leading up to the war. It has been great to see eager participation and the wealth of background knowledge is most welcome.

Tomorrow, the students will take the first session of the MCAS ELA exam. It would be great if all students get a good night's sleep, eat a nice breakfast and arrive at school on time to ensure everyone is in the right frame of mind for the test.
