2/28/18

The fifth graders concluded the month of February by making commendable progress in two important areas. We continue to be hard at work on literary essays. The fifth graders are progressing closer and closer to completing their final drafts. I have truly been impressed with the essays that I have been reading. Today, special attention was paid to the conclusions of the pieces. Members of A303 looked to wrap their writing up on a strong note.

During social studies, the students began to kick off their final project in our European explorer unit. The students selected the explorer that they will be doing some research about into next week.

Students were also presented with a reading project that they will have three weeks to work on. This project is largely going to be done at home. Students received directions for this project today. If there are any questions please let me know.
