It was nice to see all of the students back at school as we officially kicked off the second term together. The effort and dedication on display throughout the first term from all of my students gives me high hopes for our continued work. We will be moving onto fractions in math and literary writing. I can't wait to see the members of M102 rise to the occasion with this new material.
During social studies, the students continued to learn more about native americans and the cultural regions that they were located in in the continental United States. Within the next two weeks, we will begin to work on our culminating project in this unit.
Homework
Math - Squre numbers worksheet due Friday December 2nd (students should show work/reasoning on blank recording sheet which is attached)
Reading - 30 minutes of quiet reading and fill out reading log on nightly basis
