The students learned about the events leading up to and during the Second Continental Congress. Fifth graders then put themselves into the shoes of John Adams as they began to construct a persuasive letter to convince George Washington to lead the Continental Army.

We also began the final investigation in our fourth math unit. This lesson dealt with solving complex multi-step word problems.

Reading - 30 minutes of quiet reading

Math - workbook pages 253 and 254. Due Friday the 8th
