It was great to spend a full day together in room A303. The students worked on a number of different items throughout the school day. Fifth graders partnered up to fill out a graphic organizer related to the qualities and actions one would see in a "great classmate".
Later the students undertook some multiplication practice in a short math lesson and will also used our iPads to create subject matter folders on Goggle Drive, which will serve as houses for work to be done throughout the school year.
A very productive day.
Homework
Students should decorate their writing notebook covers. I would like all students to have this done by next Monday, as it will serve as our share out during morning meeting.
Students also received a permission slip for safety patrols. These should be signed and returned as soon as possible.
