The fifth graders continued deeper into Bud, Not Buddy today. I was happy with the participation during our kick off discussion. The students are doing a nice job of analyzing the text with one another. I look forward to reading the blog posts that students are going to be writing this week about our main character.

The students were also an attentive audience for a representative from the Alton Jones science camp.

The fifth graders also received paperwork concerning the fifth grade trip to science camp in early December. There are a number of forms that need to be signed and returned to school as well as information for parents at home. In addition, the fifth grade team is on the look out for chaperones to stay over different days down at the Alton Jones camp.
