Author Adam Lane visited with the fifth graders this afternoon. The students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and asked some good questions afterwards.

Our science lesson focused on the kids using animal cards to create food webs for two unique ecosystems located in North America. The groups worked well together during this activity. 

Homework

Reading - fill out reader's log on a nightly basis and keep track of minutes read over the course of the week

Math - finish pages 405 and 406 if not done in class, due Friday 3/13
