We concluded investigation one in unit 6 during math class this morning. The students took an assessment that looked to have them compare values of decimals and to order them from least to greatest. The kids appeared to do very well with this. Tomorrow, we will push into the final investigation of the unit.
On this, the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre the fifth graders in A303 continued our exploration of the Boston Massacre. The lesson allowed us to combine some math concepts with history when the students compiled data from the battlefield into tables and graphs.
