We began the final school week of 2018 by kicking off the second unit of writing. This opinion unit will see the students undertake the process of selecting an opinion topic and then compiling research to support their opinion.
During math class, the students continued to work on strategies to add fractions. They also had some time to work in pairs on a math activity.

Math - workbook pages 165 and 166, due Friday December 21st
Reading - 30 minutes of quiet reading per night
