12/19/18

The focus of our social studies lesson today was on the Proclamation of 1763. The students put themselves in the shoes of King George and looked to craft a compromise that could have prevented the American Revolution from breaking out.

During our ELA time, we looked at an article and a news report pertaining to the treatment of animals in zoos. The children were engaged and this was a meaningful first lesson on the road to creating an opinion piece of writing.

As a reminder, tomorrow is show and tell and Friday the 21st is board game day.

Homework
