10/27/17

The fifth graders are hard at work on their first large scale social studies project. This project sees the students using the explain everything app on their iPads to create a presentation concerning the discovery of the Kennewick Man in Washington state. The members of M102 are engaged and energized by this work. I can't wait to see the finished projects next week.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

The fifth graders also received paperwork concerning the fifth grade trip to science camp in early December. There are a number of forms that need to be signed and returned to school as well as information for parents at home. In addition, the fifth grade team is on the look out for chaperones to stay over different days down at the Alton Jones camp.
